A small collaboration school project I did together with Brynjar Barkarson for Nrk3 as part of a Storytelling course at AHO. The task was to create small clips lasting 8 seconds which were to be used between programs as fillers. The clips should also have a feel-good theme.
Robodob. My first robot. Uses Xbee(Series 1 @57600 baud) to emulate a serial cable, Serial Proxy enables Robodob to communicate with the socket-based Flash - AS3 Glue library, which is used to control it.
A Arduino Pro Mini microcontroller inside Robodob is loaded with StandardFirmata2WithServo, which is a modification of the Firmata protocol The Gearbox from Tamiya and its two electrical motors are connected to a H-Bridge enabling individual forward and reverse rotation of the wheels.
